Biren graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Gujarat University, India, in 2009. He came to Canada for further study in 2010 and completed a post-graduate certificate program in Exercise Science at Humber College in 2011.
Biren is a Certified Vestibular Therapist and certified in Dry Needling (IMS). He has also been published for his research on patellofemoral arthritis in the Online Journal of Allied Health Sciences.
Biren is the founder and director of Dynamic Balance Physiotherapy and Vestibular Rehab. He has worked as a physiotherapist for well-known physiotherapy providers across the Lower Mainland and has been an active participant in many community health promotion programs — he is a strong believer in an active lifestyle.
Biren has a keen interest in vertigo, dizziness and balance treatment as well as musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation. His physiotherapy practice utilizes manual therapy, exercise prescription, other modalities and dry needling.
What Is Biren’s Treatment Philosophy?
His goal of treatment includes education about your injury and correcting muscle imbalance (posture correction) through active rehab for sustainable recovery. He believes that a complete, detailed assessment followed by proper education, functional exercises, and combined therapeutic treatment plays the key role in recovering from injuries.
A Bit More About Biren
Biren has been very active since childhood. He grew up playing cricket and tennis, and enjoys outdoor activities and travelling. When he is not working he spends time with family and friends, helping the community through health promotion and awareness programs.
