Biren Patel — Physiotherapist, Certified Vestibular Therapist

Biren graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Gujarat University, India, in 2009, came to Canada in 2010 for further study, and completed a post-graduate certificate in Exercise Science at Humber College in 2011. He is a Certified Vestibular Therapist and certified in Dry Needling (IMS), and has been published for his research on patellofemoral arthritis in the Online Journal of Allied Health Sciences.
He is the founder and director of Dynamic Balance Physiotherapy and Vestibular Rehab and has worked with well-known physiotherapy providers across the Lower Mainland. His treatment philosophy centres on detailed assessment, patient education, posture correction through active rehabilitation, manual therapy, exercise prescription and dry needling — for sustainable recovery rather than temporary relief.
Biren has a keen interest in vertigo, dizziness and balance treatment as well as musculoskeletal injury rehab. He grew up playing cricket and tennis and remains a strong believer in an active lifestyle.
Susan Kumar — Registered Physiotherapist

Susan obtained his Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree in 2008 and has extensive experience evaluating and treating musculoskeletal, neuromusculoskeletal and sports-related injuries. He has a passion for restoring quality of life through evidence-based practice.
Before joining Dynamic Balance, Susan worked at Good Samaritan care home as a Rehabilitation Assistant, carrying out rehabilitative treatment plans within a multidisciplinary team — experience that shaped his attentive, goal-focused approach to every patient.
Outside the clinic he spends his time exploring parks and trails with his boys, travelling, camping and cooking for family and friends.
